Absolutely bang on, Ian.

The US has moved on from "Greed is good" to blatant, shameless, corruption and cruelty. That's "progress" for you. Let's hope we, here in the UK - and elsewhere, can avoid the same disastrous mistakes. Without doubt, Farage would emulate Trump's "success".

The world cup is just a sport and a pastime. In less than three weeks those "world cup tinted glasses", will be gone. And the deep-seated corruption by capitalism, will continue on it's course. Dismantling liberty & freedoms; weaponising law & order; and, of course... grifting!

As always, I'll finish with...

Just want to say that if you're not listening to the podcast version of Ian's newsletter then you're very much missing out. It's tremendously entertaining in its own right - dog barking at the entry phone, Ian realising he's used the same word three times in a sentence, being called a cunt for listening. Ace. We'd lose these wonderful moments if only there was some way to edit audio, but our lives are richer because there isn't.

Fun fact: Although France is known as the USA's oldest ally, Morocco holds the record for the longest unbroken treaty relationship with the United States (The Moroccan–American Treaty of Peace and Friendship 1786)
