I have had a theory that almost everything that has gone wrong in our country is from never talking or learning about Empire. Without a dose of humility we’ve become deluded supremacists with no moral core. I’m curious how much of the US learns about slavery… (I learnt about it in the UK at school…. Yet nothing about empire)

Urgh I’m gonna have to watch this fucking Spiderman aren’t I? It pains me to see another movie about the exact same fucking thing again and again (Spiderverse is slightly different I guess) but I’m feeling like Mugatu and wondering why everyone is raving about this latest edition of Blue Steel.
This is making me nostalgic about when I went to see the phantom menace when it came out with my super star wars fan mate who was very excited about it. The sadness in his eyes afterwards could not be budged even as Melvyn Brag walked past as we trudged dejectedly along Flask Walk. I guess he knew.
Future washing machines will have a choice of melodies, including silence.
Could we please just clone Ian Dunt and have him delivering his sharp, insightful and elegantly abrasive commentary in every democracy of the world.
