Yes! When the World At One came on today and there was a full twenty minutes of this nonsense it was such a blessed relief from Trumpery I felt something almost joyful. I realise this is utterly tragic but I stand by it.

Hahahaha I am having a mare of a week at work, things on a personal level are a bit shit, its cold dark and grim but my word this has given me some much needed injection of joy what a farce start to finish, from the cobbled together press conference, to the awkward as hell pause before the man of the moment Jenrick turned up to his Reform corrination/public execution with Ferage telling the waiting press pack "he hasnt changed his mind has he haha" to the I hate the Tory's and here's why rant from Jenrick akin to Father Ted when he won his cleric of the year award - .nothing like slagging off the last lot to win over your new colleagues! Kudos to the fabulous Beth Rigby for her excruciating questions for Jenrick about the many daming things he has previously said about Ferage and vice versa, to Sky for zooming in on the moment you see Jenrick's soul leave his cunt of a carcass as he is welcomed into his den of biggots.I dont know what's more worrying how ridiculously fast that all imploded or that I have now found a modicum of respect for Kemi Badenoch. The end of the conference was the best where an ashen face Jenrick realised his ribena racism days were over and he had now been forced into an arranged marriage with a foul full fat Fascist. The speed of the decent into madness was astonishing but the move to Reform was inevitable, like flies landing on dog shit.
I happened to be browsing Bluesky when this news broke, rather than missing it & finding out later which is what usually happens. I have to admit, I did laugh.
